Transitional Support

  • Living sober in NZ is possible when you actively work towards making a change.
  • From recovery meetings to exercise, movie nights and more… we do this together.
  • For Mental health and substance use call center with 24/7 local representatives.
  • We offer a “hand up” rather than a “hand out” by providing faith-based structured, stable and supportive housing where they can begin the process of healing and restoration.
  • Our mentors can continue to work with clients and families during and after moving out.
  • Also be sure to ask the ACO (the Corrections officer) for a doctor if you are on drugs because many inmates die from not receiving the drug to get them down from withdrawals on the street drug.

Both recovery residences and Oxford Houses are peer-run and peer-operated homes. So this is what you can do in jail to cure you from illnesses. Also be sure to ask the ACO (the Corrections officer) for a doctor if you are on drugs because many inmates die from not receiving the drug to get them down from withdrawals on the street drug.

What are recovery residences?

Hundreds of thousands of people have been through the program. Oxford House, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that employs both office and New Life House Review field staff to provide technical assistance to the network of houses to foster the expansion of the Oxford House Model. Weld housing members are expected to participate in their own recovery, rehabilitation, and reentry on a daily basis.

You’re doing some pretty hard work, let us make life a little easier. I can honestly say I was blessed with Don, Lloyd, Joe, Beau and also Grant, the men who helped me stay clean. What I’ve learned being at House of Hope has a lot to do with the way I live my life. I am clean today, and all the things that I have learned in my sobriety and living a new life, I owe it to my higher power, which is God. Thank you to Don and Lloyd because without them and God I could not have done this by myself. I have a choice, which I have chosen to do the right thing and stay clean.

Clean and Sober Living

clean and sober house

Provides shared housing for recovering alcoholics/drug addicts. Would-be residents must fill out an application form and sign an agreement not to drink or use drugs. A tiered 6-month program providing individuals with a foundation for long term recovery & support. Essentially, attendees will first meet 3x a week, then move to twice a week for out-patient services, and finally once a week for after care.

To support this mission, all Clean and Sober Homes adhere to specific rules and principles. AAC’s sober living facilities require patients to be enrolled in an outpatient program, which is typically covered by insurance. They called their experiment in group living and joint sobriety Oxford House. It was the first step in a nationwide movement, now almost 50 years old, that has been credited with helping thousands of people overcome addiction and lead productive lives. There are over 3500 self-sustaining Oxford Houses in the United States and more than 24,000 individuals in recovery living in these houses at any one time during the year. An Oxford House member can stay as long as they like, provided they stay drug and alcohol free, are not disruptive, and pay their share of house expenses.

The most successful members are the most motivated and those most engaged in changing their lives. Weld Seattle’s homes are created to establish community and accountability amongst members, while allowing participants to cultivate healthy coping mechanisms while in transition. Membership means that individuals are agreeing to participate in pro-active recovery, successful reentry, and play an active part in the community within the home in which they live. Ethos Structured Sober Living is an all male community in recovery located in the heart of West Los Angeles. Our primary purpose is to foster long-term sobriety through the cultivation of accountability, camaraderie, & character development.
